5 Wonderful Berry Smoothies

It’s incredible that something that tastes so lovely can be among the most powerful health foods on the planet, and berries are just that. Being extremely high in antioxidants there is every reason to include berries in your diet, and berry smoothies are an excellent way of doing so. It’s easy and as they are refreshing in flavor, you can easily sneak in some greens or mix them with your favorite fruits. Here’s 5 wonderful berry smoothies that I often have for breakfast.strawberry-bok-choy-smoothieStrawberry Bok Choy Smoothie
2 baby bok choy washed a cut into large chunks
2 peeled oranges
1 banana (fresh or frozen, cut into chunky bits)
1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup black berries (fresh or frozen)
1-1.5 cups water (preferably filtered, or other liquid)Add ingredients to blender jug and blend until smooth. Serves 2

1 banana (fresh or frozen, cut into big chunks)
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup water
1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves

(you may want to add some ice cubes if using fresh fruit)

I always try to add some sort of greens to my smoothies, but you can also keep it even more simple and just blend banana and blueberries. Adding kale instead of spinach also works well.
