Homemade Roasted Kale Chips in 15 mins

If you are looking for a healthy alternative to the traditional potato chips, try making your own homemade roasted kale chips in 15 mins may be something to try. Kale is among the most nutritious greens on the planet with many health benefits, so adding some kale to your diet will certainly do you good. Kale chips and potato chips are nothing alike, kale chips are much thinner, but very tasty and certainly guilt-free! Kale chips are a great healthy appetizer or snack which is easy to prepare, so here’s a quick recipe to make homemade roasted kale chips in 15 mins.

How to make Kale Chips (Serves 4)

  • 1 bunch kale (stems removed)
  • Lemon Zest from 1 lemon
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oilhomemade-kale-chips

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F and place kale on two rimmed baking sheets.

Pour olive oil (or other cooking oil, e.g. rice oil) on to kale, season with salt and toss. Place trays in the oven and bake for 15 mins until crisp. You may want to rotate trays once. Once crisp toss with lemon zest and enjoy!
