How to make use of leftover Juicing Pulp?


As you would have noticed when juicing you will be left with a lot of colorful pulp which may vary in amount and dryness depending on your juicer type, and sometimes it may seem a waste just to toss all the leftover pulp after juicing. However there most probably won’t be much goodness left, but if you would like to make use of it anyway, here’s some simple suggestions to make use of the pulp:

Citrus fruit pulp: Use the pulp from oranges or lemons in an orange or lemon cake

Tropical fruit pulp and berries: Why not mix the pulp from watermelon, honey dew, pineapple, berries etc. with a fruit salad

Carrot pulp: Use the pulp in a Carrot Cake or add it to a pasta sauce

Vegetable pulp: Mix it in with mince meat and make meat balls, meat loaf or other meat dish

Tomatoes, greens, herbs: Add it to a tomato pasta sauce

Apple pulp: Use it in an Apple pie or Apple sauce

You can also add pulp to Breads, Pancakes, Muffins, Soups and Dips.

If you don’t want to use it in cooking you can compost it.
